Ok, so I just realized:
Hunger Games=Gryffindor
Because the Games have courage, bravery, and danger.
Supernatural=Slytherin
Because they’re in contact with the Devil.
Sherlock=Ravenclaw
Because it’s full of people who are intelligent, but not necessarily heroes.
Dr. Who=Hufflepuff
Because everyone is important.
Don’t really approve of the Slytherin=Supernatural thing…as a Slytherin, let me just say: WE HAVE NO FUCKING CONNECTION TO THE DEVIL! At least no more that any of the others do.
The characteristics of a Slytherin are not necessarily evil. Using any means to achieve an ends does not mean evil. Using any means could mean that Slytherins are willing to give something their all in order to achieve it, which is not an evil thing to do. The books just set all of the Slytherins up to seem evil and it’s honestly very tiring having to defend myself all the time. So, no, we do not have a fucking connection to the devil. This has been a rant by Brittany Salazar (that’s right, Salazar, and fucking proud)

Agreed. Slytherin is about being loyal to your family no matter what the cost and doing whatever you have to do to protect them.

“Because they’re in contact with the devil” wow. Great reasoning. Flawless. You deserve an award. *throws myself off bridge*

and the “Not all who wander are lost” is a perfect fit too, because normally there would be “Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus”, wich kinda reminds me of Smaug, sleeping under his piles of gold… :)
Okay, I feel very strongly about Hogwarts houses, and the sorting, so if you’re not interested, you can move on.rant/
Okay, the supernatural sorting is just wrong. Being in contact with the devil means nothing at all, and supernatural is such a fucking Gryffindor show, that it’s painful. You know who would sell their soul for their brother without even thinking about it, and give up normal lives to hunt monsters? Gryffindors. Those damn Winchesters and the fucking hunters are so Gryffindor, that it’s impossible to not see it.
Honestly, Hunger Games is much more Slytherin, because it deals with themes like government, glory at the defeat of others, and most of the characters (volunteer tributes) go into the arena to get glory. Is it just me, or does that sound like ambition? Yes, the main characters aren’t that Slytherin, but everyone else? They are very Slytherin. Which is why I cannot approve of the sorting.
